Anglo European School, Ingatestone

About Me

I have been teaching French and Italian since 2002, starting out in the London Borough of Havering and now currently working at the Anglo European School, where I have been since 2009.  I am Assistant Headteacher, with an overview of Teaching and Learning and Inclusion.  I am a Specialist Assessor for Access Arrangements. Additionally, I am the school’s Designated Safeguarding Lead.

I have developed my practice to become an outstanding teacher of MFL and have successfully mentored a number of trainees and newly qualified teachers.  I have experience of working with pupils across a wide range of abilities, from native speakers who read, write and speak fluently in the TL to those who are not naturally at ease with language learning.
