Primary ECT Pedagogy Programme 2023-24 (incl. Appropriate Body Services and ECF Full Induction Programme)

It’s time to secure places on our highly effective pedagogy training for 2023-24! As well as providing key pedagogical knowledge, skills development and essential contextual priorities, it supports ECTs in their first year towards evidencing the Teachers’ Standards which they will be assessed against. The ECF Full Induction Programme (ECF FIP) follows a different framework linked to the Teachers’ Standards.

We are working in collaboration with Harris Chafford Hundred Teaching School Hub (Harris TS Hub) to provide Appropriate Body (AB) services for ECT Induction. If you have previously used Billericay TA as an Appropriate Body, your ECTs will be allocated to Tony Ward and his team when you book with Harris TS Hub Appropriate Body (see booking link below).

You can access our pedagogy training via the 3 Options below:

OPTION A (we strongly recommend you choose this option)

Appropriate Body Services (from Billericay TA through Harris TS Hub), ECF Full Induction Programme (Harris TS Hub) and all pedagogy training (from Billericay TA)

£450 – Year 1 & 2 Appropriate Body Services – paid to Harris TS Hub
£375 – Pedagogy training (Year 1 only)  – paid to Billericay Teaching Alliance

Pedagogy training sessions addressing the Teachers’ Standards – 8 three-hour Thursday morning or Thursday afternoon pedagogy training sessions, and one full day session, each focussing on pedagogical content and integrating opportunities for ECTs to reflect on the relevant Teachers’ Standards, their specific experiences and address how to improve and evidence practice. (see below)

Each session will be delivered by a Lead Practitioner or System Leader and will take place locally at The Teaching Centre, Lee Chapel primary School.
