Primary ECT Pedagogy Programme 2021-22 (incl. AB and ECF Full Induction Programme)

Billericay Teaching Alliance (Billericay TA) are continuing to offer our highly effective pedagogy training for 2021-22! As well as providing key pedagogical knowledge, skills development and essential contextual priorities, it supports ECTs in their first year towards evidencing the Teachers’ Standards which they will be assessed against. The ECF Full Induction Programme (ECF FIP) follows a different framework linked to the Teachers’ Standards

We are working in collaboration with Harris Teaching School Hub (Harris TS Hub) Appropriate Body (AB). If you have previously used Billericay TA as an Appropriate Body, your ECTs will be allocated to Tony Ward and his team when you book with Harris TS Hub Appropriate Body (see booking link below).  You can access our pedagogy training via the 3 Options below:

OPTION A (we strongly recommend you choose this option)

Appropriate Body Service (from Billericay TA through Harris TS Hub), ECF Full Induction Programme (Harris TS Hub) and all pedagogy training (from Billericay TA)

£200 – Year 1 (2021-22)  –  33% discount on 2020-21 cost (paid to Harris TS Hub)
£345 – Pedagogy training (Year 1 only)  – over 25% discount on 2020-21 cost (paid to Billericay TA)
£200 – Year 2 (2022-23)  –  additional DfE funding supports Year 2 (paid to Harris TS Hub)

Full Details

Pedagogy training sessions addressing the Teachers’ Standards – 7 three-hour Thursday morning (afternoon sessions FULL) pedagogy training sessions, and one full day session.  Each session focuses on pedagogical content and integrates opportunities for ECTs to reflect on the relevant Teachers’ Standards, their specific experiences and address how to improve and evidence practice. (see below)

Each session will be delivered by a Lead Practitioner or System Leader and will take place locally in Billericay and/or Basildon.
